DMA/33 device on each IDE channel. This is due to
the fact that the length of the three-connector cable
required for the configuration might cause signal
degradation.
Two Ultra DMA/33 IDE devices can be used on the
same PCI/IDE channel in a desktop system if
neither device is run in Ultra DMA/33 mode.
You can run two Ultra DMA/33 devices in Ultra
DMA/33 mode in a desktop system if one device is
connected to the primary PCI/IDE channel, and the
other is connected to the secondary IDE channel.
