Dumping objects

CAUTION:
When lifting or returning the car-
rier or bucket, never insert or place any part of
your body between the dump unit and the carrier
or bucket, or under the dump unit. Doing so may
result in injury or burns.
CAUTION:
After dumping loads, be sure to
lock the dump unit by returning the dump unit to
its original position.
CAUTION:
Before lifting the carrier or bucket
manually, be sure to lock the brake lever.
CAUTION:
Lift the carrier or bucket on flat
and stable ground. Operation on unstable ground
may cause an accident or injury.
CAUTION:
Keep the load to a minimum. If
the load is large, do not try to lift the carrier or
bucket. Reduce the load, and then lift the carrier
or bucket.
CAUTION:
If the load is fixed by ropes or
other means, untie the load before lifting the
dump unit.
CAUTION:
Before lifting the carrier or bucket,
make sure that there are no people or obstacles
around the machine.
You can dump the objects by lifting and tilting the carrier
or bucket.
1. Stop the machine.
2. Tilt the bucket or carrier forward by pressing the
upper side of the tilt switch while holding the brake
lever.

3. To manually dump the objects left in the bucket or
carrier, follow the steps below.
• Lock the brake lever, and then stand at the side of
the machine.
• Rotate the lock lever of the dump unit toward the
front of the machine to unlock the dump unit.
• Hold the handle of the dump unit, and then tilt the
bucket or carrier forward to dump the objects.
• Return the bucket or carrier to the dump unit.

CAUTION:
Hold the handle of the dump unit
firmly, and work in a stable posture.
NOTICE:
It is recommended to chock the front
wheels to stabilize the machine.
4. Return the bucket or carrier to its original position
by pressing the lower side of the tilt switch while holding
the brake lever.
NOTICE:
Be sure to return the bucket or carrier
to its original position after dumping objects. If
the bucket or carrier is not returned completely and
locked, the traveling speed of machine is limited up to
0.8 km/h (0.5 mile/h).
