NUMBER OF
DAYS CALCULATION
l~t·l·IEi11i•tnJtm
This program calculates the number of days
from a certain date (year, month, day) until
another specified date (year, month, day), or
conversely, determines the date (year, month,
day) a specified number of days after a certain
date (year, month, day). The former operation is
called the 'number of days calculation,' and the
latter is called the 'inverse number of days
calculation.'
When the program is started, it asks whether or not the results are to be output on a
printer. If you wish to print out the result, press the Y key. If not, press the N key.
Next, specify either the 'number of days calculation' or the 'inverse number of days
calculation'.
*
Number of days calculation (select '1 ')
First input the starting year, month and day. Next, input the ending year, month and
day in response to the prompt from the program. The program then displays the num-
ber of days, together with the starting and ending dates and their days of the week. It
is also possible to calculate the number of days back to a past date. In this case, the
result is output prefixed with a - (minus) sign.
*
Inverse number of days calculation (select '2')
First, input the starting date (year, month, day). Next, input the number of days. (If
the number of days is to be reckoned back to a past date, put a - (minus) at the left of
the number. In this case, the result appears as 'the date the specified number of days
before the starting date is
xxxx. ')
Pressing any key on1 the keyboard returns to the selection of the type of calculation.
Pressing the BREAK key terminates program execution.
