whether or not data is to be input to CETL. Press the Y key (if data is to be input) or
the N key (if not). and then press the~ key. When the appropriate data is input, the
program returns to command
2.
After displaying the calculated amount, the program displays the prompt "END
(Y/N/C)." Press the Y key to terminate command 2; press the N key to calculate an
estimate for another product; press the
C
key to calculate an estimate for the same
product using a different quantity and discount rate. The program then asks whether
or not all the data is to be displayed. Pressing the
Y
key and the gJ key causes all the
data to be displayed.
The program next asks whether or not the total amount is to be calculated. Pressing
the Y key causes the program to start calculating the total quantity, total amount, and
total selling price (i.e., total amount minus total discount}. Pressing the
~
key when
the totals are displayed causes a return to the menu.

Listing products
When command
3
is selected, the prompt "SCREEN
(1)
OR PRINTER
(2)"
is display-
ed. Key in 1 or 2, and press the~key.
If 1 (screen) is keyed in, seven product names and associated
unit
prices are displayed
on the screen at a time. To display the next seven product names and unit prices,
press the~ key.
After a list of the products is output, the program returns to the menu.
Of the
16 CETL commands, the following commands can be
effectively
used for this
program:
D (
Delete Data)
Delete part or all of the data.
Since
this program does not have a delete command,
use the CETL command to delete data. Note that the B (Blank) command must not
be used to delete data.
S (Sort)
Sort data. For the prompt "KEY ITEM?," input either

(product name) or
2
{unit
price). For the prompt "REC.?," input
1, XX. XX
indicates the last serial number
displayed by command
3
of this program.
F {Find)
Search for specififd data. For the prompt "REC.?," input
1, XX
as for the
S
com-
mand. For the prompt "CONDITION?," input IT(2)<S00, for example. In this case,
products whose unit prices arc lower than
$500 (the content of item 2) are searched
for.
T (Table)
This command has the same function as command 3 of the program.
P (Put)
Output data to a floppy disk or cassette tape.
G (Get)
Input data from a floppy disk or cassette tape.
Note on inputting the program
When inputting the BASIC program, be sure to include the REM statements. Otherwise
a UL error will occur due to the missing destination line number for a GOSUB.
When creating a CETL file, use the N command to input the file name, the number of
