(2) Print Total
The total amount of each of the products is displayed. The items displayed are from 4)
purchase price to 12) profit (see 'Controlled Items'). The procedures for displaying
individual items and returning to the menu screen are the same as described in (1)
above.
(3) Edit Data
In this mode, the contents of stored product data can be modified. To enter this mode,
press other than the E or N key when the program displays 'EDIT DATA.' Data is
arranged in horizontal rows, and the products are arranged in a vertical column. To
find the data to be changed, use the CURSOR key. Pressing the CURSOR key causes a
shift by one item. The shift can be made in any of four directions. When the cursor
reaches either end, it moves in the opposite direction.
When the desired item is found, press the E key, and the program displays "NEW
DAT A." Input the new data. After changing all the relevant data, press the N key and
the program returns to the menu screen.
(4) Add Data
In this mode, new product data can be added. Input the product name, classification,
memo, purchase price, selling price A, selling price B, quantity purchased, and quantity
sold. Then, the program displays the calculated quantity on hand, value of goods on
hand, sales and profits. Finally, the input of remarks terminates data input for one
product. The program now displays "OK? (Y/N)/END (E)." Check the data just input.
If it is correct, press any key except the E or N key to input the n~xt data. If an error
is found, press the N key and correct the error. At the end of data input, press the E
key to return to the menu screen.
(5) Kill Data
This mode is used to delete unnecessary product data. Input the data number to be
deleted, and the contents of four items are displayed. Check the contents and press the
Y key. Pressing anything except the Y key simply causes a return to the menu screen.
(6) Save Data
In this mode, the contents of a file modified by steps (3), (4) or (5) are saved on the
floppy disk. The program displays all the file names on the floppy disk, asking for the
appropriate file name.I If you wish to rewrite the original file, input the file name. If
you wish to save data to another file, input a new file name.
(7) End
Terminates program execution. Note that when data has been changed, Save Data must
be excecu ted before End.
