MAZING GAME
i~Z•lilhiul•t!Htm
This is an interesting game named the mazing
game. You must try to guide the snake through
a maze without being blocked.

Start the program, and it displays the title "MAZING GAME," then asks "LEVEL?".
LEVEL (1-5) indicates the number of obstacles placed inside a predetermined area. If
level 1 is specified, only one obstacle is placed somewhere in the area; if level 2 is speci-
fied, two obstacles are set up, and so on. When LEVEL is specified, an area is set on
the screen and the specified number of obstacles are displayed. The 'snake' starts
moving in an arbitrary direction. The snake motion should be controlled by the follow-
ing keys.
·
Use the I and K keys for vertical movement, and use the
J
and L keys for horizontal
movement. Needless to say, when the snake is moving upward, pressing the I key does
not change the snake motion. Note that the snake really moves obliquely toward the
top or bottom of the
1
screen. Thus, when the snake is moving toward the top left, the
only valid keys are K (move toward the bottom left) and L (move toward the top
right}. The game is over when you try three times. Your scores and the highest scores
of the day are displayed. To play the game again, press the Y key.
