3.1.1.

RELAY IDENTIFICATION

The complete model number of the relay is shown on the faceplate. Figure 3.1 shows the faceplate of the relay.

PANEL CUTOUT

The MIF case is made from corrosion resistant stainless steel. Case dimensions, along with panel cutout details
for panel mounting are shown in figure 3.2.
The modular design allows the relay to be easily upgraded or repaired by a qualified person.
The relay is provided with a plastic lid that fits over the faceplate, sealing the relay hermetically, avoiding dust
coming into the relay.
The relay must be mounted such that the faceplate sits semi-flush with the panel or switchgear door, allowing the
operator access to the keypad and the RS232 communications port. The relay is secured to the panel with the use
of four screws supplied with the relay.
