Important information on operation
3.1
Operation
The operating and display panel "MB TouchScreen ControlPanel" is used as a status display for operating
your intrusion detection central control unit. Operation of the system is dialog managed via a touch
screen. i.e. by touching the display with a finger the desired operating functions can be selected and
operated. The operating and display panel provides clear and comprehensive information on the system
status
Electrostatic discharges can cause malfunctions of the touch screen. Therefore, make sure that
the touch screen does not come into contact with other electrical devices, e.g. mobile phones.
Moisture or drops of water can cause the touch screen to malfunction. Therefore, make sure that
the touch screen does not come into contact with heavy moisture or water.
Do not operate the touch screen with sharp or rough
objects!
Do not apply too much pressure with your fingers.

Visual angle
Note the viewing angle of the display for optimal visibility and
legibility.
3.3
Cleaning and care
Before cleaning please disable touchcsreen (see Chapter
7.1.8). For cleaning use a damp, soft cloth. DO NOT use
any other liquid, sprays or ammonia-based cleansers.
Do not use aggressive or plastic decomposing liquids, e.g. petrol, terpentine, thinner, etc. Aggressive
cleaning agents can damage or discolour the surfaces.
Do not use abrasives, e.g. scouring agents, scour pad. Clean with a soft, moist cloth. Only use clear
water.
4.
Integrated reader
An IK2/proX1, IK3/proX2 and mifare and mifare DESFire
card reader for user authorization is integrated into the
TochScreen ControlPanel.
When used in systems according to SES, the use of
mifare Classic and proX data carriers is not
permitted.
Hold the data carrier - approximately in the middle of the
reading range.
Whether a data carrier is required for the authorization, will be
determined on the panel programming.
The following combinations are possible::

The reader can be used at the panels MB-Secure (from V10.xx).
