Symptom
Green lamp is not on
BW Shutter failure
Head position is not correct due to
scanner mechanical failure, loose belt,
loose encoder wheel, encoder failure

Scanner e-stop armed is open on mss

Edge detect setup is not set up

Possible Cause
One of the lamp is broken
Basis Weight Shutter not close
properly / microswitch failure
ASH switch failure
ASH sensor disable
One of the red lamp is broken
Air supply is closed
Basis weight receiver failure
Inspect encoder belt tension, inspect belt
tension. Calibrate scanner
Verify manual / auto selection on endbell
scanner and FC at PMP is set on Auto
(computer) mode
Verify that all E-stop button is released
and crash switch is free
Check MSS Setup positioning display.
Verify that edge enabled is checked and
one of "detect on sheet" or "detect off
sheet" is checked
Check scan position and adjust until
scanner scan out of paper
Check from scanner sensor status which
sensor is fail
Check stdz / bckg reading on sensor
maintenance display against the record
Clean the head
If high limit, check if chiller is on
Water flow is present
Check any blockage
Verify sensor operation
