prevent this, but that should be seen as a "LAST RESORT"
safety device.

If you had preset heights stored in the work surface lift control
memory, you will need to store these preset heights again. For more
information, see "Setting preset heights for the work surface" on
page 29.
If there is a power outage at your facility, the lift columns may need to
be recalibrated.
If the lift columns need to be reset, the operator should never stay
seated with their legs underneath the work surface, as the columns
may return to their lowest position and could trap the operator's legs
between the chair and the work surface. There is a safety cut-out
mechanism to prevent this, but that should be seen as a "LAST
RESORT" safety device.
Prerequisites
Electrical connections to the console are in place and power has
n
been restored.
To reset the lift columns
1. Press and hold the S button on the work surface lift control for
one second.
2. Press and hold the down button on the work surface lift control.
Keep holding the down button until the work surface reaches the
lowest position. The work surface will stop moving automatically.
Keep holding the down button. If the lift columns are out of
alignment and after about 5 seconds of continuing to hold the
down button, the work surface will move slowly down, until it
reaches its absolute end position, and the work surface will stop
moving.
3. Release the down button.
