Chapter 3 - Installing an Experion Orion Console

The gap between monitors should be minimized.
l
The angle of the monitors should be appropriate for the line
l
of sight of the operators.
The bottom of the monitors should be positioned just above
l
the work surface.
To attach the monitors to the console
1. Extend the height of the monitor mount poles.
a. Turn the lever on the slide mount counter-clockwise and then
extend the height of the monitor mount pole.
b. Push down any plastic sleeves to the bottom of the monitor
mount pole.
c. Turn the lever on the slide mount clockwise to lock the monitor
mount pole in position.
2. Unlock and remove the slide mounts from the slat rail.
a. On the top of each slide mount, lift the lever up.
b. Tilt the bottom of the slide mount away from the slat rail, and
then remove the slide mount from the slat rail.
3. Attach the slide mounts to the monitor arms.
4. Attach the monitor plate.
a. Align the monitor plate with the mount points on the back of
the monitor.
b. Ensure that the monitor plate has the correct orientation.
c. Insert all screws. Once all the screws are in place, tighten them
using the hex key.
5. Slide the monitor arms into the monitor plate. While sliding the
monitor arm into place, lift up and hold the spring-loaded thumb
screw. When the monitor arm is in the final position on the
monitor plate, release the thumb screw.
TIP: Due to the size and weight of the monitors, you will
need at least three people to lift and position the monitors
into place.
6. Attach the monitors to the slat rails.
a. With the monitor tilted, position the top of the slide mounts in
the top slat rail.
