Hardware Specifications
UL (Underwriters Laboratories) is a testing facility for light fixtures (and other
electrical devices) that vouches for the safety of the product. UL is one of several
companies approved to perform safety testing by the U.S. federal agency
Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). OSHA maintains a list of
approved testing laboratories, which are known as Nationally Recognized
Testing Laboratories
ULC (Underwriters Laboratories of Canada) mark on a product means that ULC
has tested and evaluated representative samples of the product and determined
that it meets ULC's requirements. In addition, products are periodically checked
by ULC at the manufacturing facility to make sure they continue to meet ULC
requirements.
DIRECTIVE 2012/19/EU OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE
COUNCIL on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE), Art.14, 2-5)
This symbol on our product shows a crossed-out "wheelie-bin" as required by law
