1.1 Introduction to High Speed Counter Module
This user's manual describes the specifications, handling and programming methods of
High Speed Counter Module (2MLF-H02A, 2MLF-HD2A). This module is used in
association with CPU module of MasterLogic-200 PLC series
1.2 Functions
High Speed counter module supports the following functions:
1. If 1-phase is input:
• Up/Down counter function by means of the applicable program.
• Up/Down counter function by means of the B-phase input.
2. If 2-phase is input, then we can have 1-multiplier, 2-multiplier, 4-multiplier:
Up/Down counter function by means of the difference in phase.
3. If CW/CCW is input: Up/Down counter function by means of A-phase or B-phase.
4. Preset/Gate function by applicable program or external input signal.
5. At output contact of the built-in transistor, seven types of compared signals can be
obtained through comparison based value and present value. Two outputs are
provided for each channel.
6. High Speed counter module has six additional functions:
a) Count Clear
b) Count Latch
c) Sampling Counter
d) Input Frequency Measure
e) Revolution/Unit time
f) Count Disable
