Front Door Weatherstrip
Replacement
NOTE:
• Take care not to scratch the door.
• Use a clip remover to remove the clips.
1. At the A-pillar, remove the door checker m o u n t i n g
bolt (A).
Fastener Locations
A ^ : Bolt, 1 B > : Clip, 30
2. Detach the clips (B, C, D), then remove the door
weatherstrip (E).
3. Install the weatherstrip in the reverse order of
r e m o v a l , and note these items:
• Replace any damaged clips.
• Make sure the weatherstrip is installed in the
holder (F) securely.
• A p p l y liquid thread lock to door checker
m o u n t i n g bolt before installation.
• Test-drive and check for w i n d noise.
Rear Door Panel Removal/
Installation
Special Tools Required
• KTC t r i m tool set SOJATP2014 *
• T r i m pad remover, Snap-on A 177A or equivalent,
c o m m e r c i a l l y available
• Available t h r o u g h the American Honda Tool and
Equipment Program; call 888-424-6857
NOTE: Use the appropriate tool f r o m the KTC t r i m tool
set to avoid damage w h e n prying c o m p o n e n t s .
1. Lower the glass fully.
2. Using a t r i m t o o l , pry out on the rear portion of the
cover (A) to release the hooks (B, C), then remove
the cover and the screws securing the inner handle
(D).

3. Remove the switch panel (A).
- 1 Pry up on the rear edge of the switch panel
w i t h a t r i m tool to release the rear clip.
- 2 Pull out along the edge of the panel to release
the hooks (B) and clip.
- 3 Disconnect the power w i n d o w switch
connector (C).
