9-3-13. Setting of the GPI Output

(1) In the set-up menu screen, press the keys on the function panel in the following sequence.
[4] (PERIPH), [F8] (GPI OUTPUT)
The function key indications change as follows.

(2) Press the [F2] (PORT SELECT) key to move the cursor to GPI output port number to be set.
(3) Press the [F3] (TRIGGER TYPE) key.
Every time the key is pressed, the polarity of the trigger is changed as follows.
: The relay contact opens or the output level turns high by the startup of the trigger, and
only pulse width is kept.
: The relay contact opens or the output level turns low by the startup of the trigger, and
only pulse width is kept.
: The relay contact opens/closes or the output level turns high/low over again every
time the trigger start up.
TALLY : The GPI output is used as the tally to select the key to ON/OFF. The relay contact
closes or the output level turns low when the key is selected to ON. The relay contact
opens or the output level turns high when the key is selected to OFF.
NOP : Not changed by the startup of the trigger.
When "NOP" or "TALLY" is selected, proceed to the step (5).
(4) Press the [F4] (PULSE WIDTH) key.
Select the width of the trigger pulse using the knob (control knob) 4.
If the NOP or TALLY is selected in the step (3), this selection is not necessary.
(5) Press the [F8] (ACTION SELECT) key to move the cursor to the action for startup the GPI port
selected in the step (2).
If this selection is not necessary, select "NO ACTION".
(6) Press the [F6] (SELECT) key.
(7) Repeat the steps (2) through (6), and set all GPI ports.
