9-3-12. Setting of the GPI Input

Before starting this setting, select the GPI port to "DISABLE" with the port enable function of the MISC
menu. (For the selection, refer to User's Guide HZS-7040)
After this setting, return the GPI port to "ENABLE".
(1) In the set-up menu screen, press the keys on the display panel in the following sequence.
[4] (PERIPH), [F7] (GPI INPUT)
The function key indications change as follows.

(2) Press the [F2] (PORT SELECT) key to move the cursor to input port to be selected.
(3) Press the [F3] (TRIGGER TYPE) key to select the polarity of the input trigger.
Every time the key is pressed, the polarity is changed as follows.
: Triggered at the rising edge of the input pulse
: Triggered at the falling edge of the input pulse
: Triggered at the reversal (edge) of the input pulse
LEVEL : When the input level turns low, the system changes to the selected mode
NOP : Not triggered by the input pulse
When "LEVEL" is selected, proceed to the step (5).
(4) Press the [F4] (REGION SELECT) key to move the cursor to the desired block (M/E or P/P, etc.).
If the selections of all blocks are same, press the [F5] (REGION ALL) key.
When "LEVEL" is selected at the step (3), [F4] and [F5] indications do not appear.
(5) Press the [F9] (ACTION SELECT) key to move the cursor to the desired operation.
(6) Press the [F7] (SELECT) key.
The operation is selected. If selecting the S.S RECALL?, EFF RECALL?, or RECALL? & RUN,
enter the resistor number using the numeric keypad. (The number is entered at the "?" position.)
(7) Repeat the steps (2) through (6), and select the desired operation to the input port.
