A.2 Functions of the various roles (privilege matrix)
Administrator
The administrator may perform all of the necessary administration activities.
Contrary to the role of the commissioning engineer, at the PC/PG these include:

Create new machine

Activate/deactivate machine

Delete machine

Setting up users

Master data / change password of any user

Activate / deactivate user

View / change organizational data
Note: The administrator may not connect any machines.
Commissioning engineer
The commissioning engineer may perform and view all of the necessary configu-
ration activities.
Note: The commissioning engineer may create new machines as a copy of an al-
ready existing machine.
Service engineer
The service engineer may view all configurations - in addition, the service engi-
neer may perform or change the following configurations at the PC – UI:

Personal password

Reset filter and search settings

Configure the maintenance schedule (create, change, copy, delete etc.)

Service case (create, change, copy, delete etc.)

Activate / deactivate individual control monitors

Activate / deactivate all control monitors

New trigger participate in a common start date

Preparing files to be downloaded to the machine
Machine operator
At the HMI, the machine operator may perform pending maintenance jobs and
condition Monitoring Tests, request that a fault is processed and participate in a
Teleservice Session.
