6.1 Organization administration

6.1.7 Exporting and importing a machine

Function description
This function can be set up in conjunction with ePS.
With the export, complete machines, configurations and data are copied to another
server if a move is involved.
The export must be made from the server and the organization to which the ma-
chine belongs.
With the import, the exported machines are completely accepted with the configu-
rations and data in the associated database on the target server.

All of the machines that have been exported are included in the list.
Details on the export operation are shown in the labeled columns.
If a machine is deleted here during an export operation, then it is removed from this
view and can also not appear in the list of machines that can be imported.

All of the machines that have been exported and are available for import are in-
cluded in the list.
The import is initiated with "Load". Details on the load operation are shown in the
labeled columns.
The import must be made from the server and the organization for which the ma-
chine has been exported.
If a machine is deleted here during an export operation, then it is removed from this
view and also does not appear in the list of existing machines.
