6.1 Organization administration
All you need to do is enter a new machine ID. However, you can also change the
master data accordingly.

Description
Name of the machine in the user's organization.
This machine name must be unique within an
organization.
Freely selectable, additional name of the ma-
chine can be the name used by the end user
(inventory number) or type designation.
The device class defines which ePS Network
Services can always be used on a particular
machine. Various functions cannot be used
depending on the device class. See Section:
Client diagnostics
SINUMERIK, S7, and IPC are available in the
selection.
Notice:
It is no longer possible to change the device
class of a machine that has already been cre-
ated and has been connected once.
Name of the end user: Machines can be se-
lected in the machine tree according to the end
user.
Specifies the location of the machine: Machines
can be selected in the machine tree according
to their location.
Specifies the production unit to which the ma-
chine belongs: Machines can be selected in the
machine tree according to their production unit.
