Notes
• To add a timecode, be aware that you may need to configure settings on
the device to be connected.
• When connecting to DV devices, if the video or audio output is lost, or
there is noise, disconnecting and reconnecting the cable, or powering the
DV device or this unit off and on again may solve the problem.
By connecting a VCR that supports SDI input to the SDI output connector (SDI
OUT) of the serial digital interface module, you can record program output.
Procedure for recording on a VCR
Program video and audio are always output as SDI signals from the SDI output
connector.
Connect the VCR to the SDI output connector, and operate the VCR to start
recording.
Caution
When the PGM output aspect ratio is set to 16:9 HD, program output from the
SDI output connector is not available (a black image and silent audio signal is
output).

Press the MENU button.

In the top menu, select [Video Output].

1 Select [Add TC], and confirm; 2 select [SDI] to set it [On], and confirm.
The setting turns on or off each time it is selected.
