6.1.2 Noise filter
The noise filter comprises coils and capacitors, and cuts noise generated at
the input section (line noise, etc.) and prevents switching noise from escap-
ing to the power supply line.

6.1.3 Rectifying circuit
The
AC
input signal is full-wave rectified by a diode bridge to convert the
AC input to DC. The rectified voltage is made to have a shape like that of a
mountain range, and is different from the constant voltage that is output
from batteries. This kind of voltage is called a pulse wave.
