2. Insert a DVD video or audio CD in the optical drive. (Refer to the Inserting Disc
section of the Using Optical Drive in Chapter 1.)
• When the DVD or CD disc is ready, it will be automatically played
back.
• To use the remote control, refer to the Remote Control Operation
section later in this chapter.
To stop the playback:
1. Press the Stop button ( ) on the remote control or the C key on the keyboard.
Be sure to press the Stop button ( ) or the C key to stop the playback
before ejecting the disc. Otherwise, the computer may malfunction.
For audio CDs, when all tracks in the playlist have been played back, the
CD will automatically stop.
2. Remove the disc from the optical drive (referring to the Removing Disc section
of the Using Optical Drive in Chapter 1) and then, press the DVD/CD button to
power off the computer.
Exiting INSTANT PLAY
To exit INSTANT PLAY, use one of the following ways.

Press the DVD/CD button.

Press the power button.
•
In the setup menu, select the Shutdown. (Refer to the INSTANT PLAY Setup Menu
section later in this chapter.)
After exiting INSTANT PLAY, the computer turns off.
