Printing Maintenance
When Printing Becomes Faint or Colors are Incorrect
When printing becomes faint or colors are incorrect, the print head nozzles are probably clogged.
Follow the procedures below to clean the nozzles.
W Note
Before Performing Maintenance
Remove the FINE Cartridge once, then insert it into place again. See "Replacing
a FINE Cartridge" on page 54.
Step 1
"Printing the Nozzle Check Pattern" on page 49
If the pattern is
printed normally,
select All A.
If the print quality
Step 2
After print head cleaning, print
the nozzle check pattern.
