Still Mode
Use this feature to set the type of Still image when
Playback is Paused. Select "Auto" usually.

Select a Setting using [ K / L ], then
press [ OK ].
Your setting will be activated.
Optimum resolution setting ("Field"
or "Frame") will be Selected.
Auto
Images in the Still mode will be
Field
stabilized.
Frame
Images in the Still mode will be
highly defined.
Note(s)
• Frame is 1 completed Video image made up of 2
fields (There are 30 frames per second of NTSC
Video).

Audio

Dolby Digital
Sets the Dolby Digital Audio output from HDMI/Digital
Audio output.

Select a desired item using [ K / L ],
then press [ OK ].
Converts the Dolby Digital into
PCM (2 Channel).
PCM
Outputs from bitstream. If
Auto
connected device does not support
HDMI output, it will be converted
to PCM.
Sets the DTS Audio from HDMI/Digital Audio output.

Outputs a DTS Audio. If this unit
does not support DTS Audio,
need to connect to a device that

Mute DTS Audio.
Sets the AAC (Advanced Audio Coding) Audio from

DRC (Dynamic Range Compression)
This Compression function will reduce the Volume of
the loudest sounds and amplify quieter sounds to make
it easier to hear voices or raise the average sound level.

Sets DRC to On.

• This function is available for Dolby Digital.
Not available for LPCM and MPEG Playback.
Down Sampling
Sets LPCM Digital Audio output format from Digital
Audio output.

then press [ OK ].
Output LPCM signal can be
converted to 48kHz, set this when
a connected device does not
support input over 48kHz.

DVD-Video with an LPCM signal
Off
