After stocking the refrigerator with a significant amount of food, including
bulky items like fresh poultry or large items like fruit and vegetable platters,
engaging SuperCool will override the thermostat and begin cooling the
cabinet to a lowered temperature of 35°F (2°C). SuperCool will continue
working to reach this reduced temperature until it reaches this exact degree
or it is disengaged by the user. The result is an accelerated cooling process
designed to lock in freshness, taste and texture.
SuperCool will be stopped when the super icon is touched or after 6 hours.

SuperFrost

After stocking the freezer with a significant amount of food, including bulky
items like fresh poultry, engaging SuperFrost will override the thermostat and
begin cooling the cabinet to a lowered temperature of -22°F (-30°C).
SuperFrost will continue working to reach this reduced temperature until it
reaches this exact degree or it is disengaged by the user. The result is an
accelerated cooling process designed to lock in freshness, taste and texture.
SuperFrost will be stopped when the super icon is touched or after 52 hours.

Defrosting

The defrost heaters in the refrigerator and the freezer are located directly
below the evaporators. They will defrost the evaporators to remove any ice
buildup, thus eliminating the need to manually clear out ice. These heaters
are monitored by the evaporator NTCs.
