Replacing SSD (device with 12" display)
Requirement
● The device is disconnected from the power supply.
● The device is open, see the section "Opening the built-in unit (Page 95)".
● SSD
● T10 screwdriver
Procedure
Removal
1. Unplug the two marked connectors.
Press the metal connector latch at the
front of the connector to remove the
SATA connector.
2. Remove the back-up battery from its
holder as indicated by the arrow.
Do not remove the battery connector. If
you remove the battery connector, you
need to configure the BIOS setup again
and you have to set the date and time
once again.
3. Remove the marked screws and take the
hard disk holder with the SSD out of the
device.
4. Flip the hard disk holder and remove the
marked screws.
5. Remove the connectors from the SSD
port.
