Operation
Starting Operation
The pneumatic tool works optimally at a working pressure of
6.3 bar (91 psi), measured at the air inlet when the pneumat-
ic tool is switched on.
Reversing the rotational direction

– Right rotation: Slide the switch 5 for directional rotation
to the right.
– Left rotation: Slide the switch 5 for directional rotation to
the left.

– Right rotation: Press the On/Off switch 12 for right rota-
tion.
– Left rotation: Press the On/Off switch 11 for left rotation.
Starting and Stopping
General Information
Note: When the pneumatic tool does not start, for example af-
ter a longer rest period, disconnect the air supply, and turn
the motor by the tool holder 1 several times through. This re-
moves the adhesive forces.
To save energy, only switch the pneumatic tool on when you
are using it.

Type of Clutch
In the right rotation (inserting screws / tightening nuts), the
pneumatic tools have a torque-dependent shut-off clutch
with a wide adjusting range. The clutch disengages when the
set torque is reached.
In the left rotation (loosening screws or nuts) the pneumatic
tools have a torque-dependent safety clutch with a wide ad-
justing range. The clutch disengages when the set torque is
reached.
Thrust and switch start
Switching On
– 0 607 453 4..:
To switch on the pneumatic tool, set the application tool
on the screw, press the On/Off switch 9 and apply axial
light pressure on the screwdriver.
– 0 607 461 4..:
To switch on the pneumatic tool, set the application tool
on the screw, press the On/Off switch 12 (for right rota-
tion) or the On/Off switch 11 (for left rotation) and apply
axial light pressure on the screwdriver.
Switching Off
– Right rotation:
The pneumatic tool switches off automatically when
reaching the set torque.
– Left rotation:
When the set torque is reached, the pneumatic tool engag-

es until the On/Off switch is released or the tool is re-
leased.
If the On/Off switch is released too early or the pneumatic tool
is released prematurely, the preset torque is not reached.

Switch start
– To switch on the pneumatic tool, press the On/Off switch
9 and keep it pressed during the working procedure.
Once the torque set for screwdriving is reached, the
screwdriver engages until the On/Off switch 9 is released.
– To switch off the machine, release the On/Off switch 9.
If the On/Off switch 9 is released too early, the preset torque
is not reached.

– Turn the protective sleeve 3, until an elongated hole be-
comes visible in the housing.
– Insert an Allen key (6 mm or 1/4") into the tool holder 1
and turn it until a half-round recess in the adjustment disc
21 becomes visible.
– Insert the adjustment tool 20 into the recess.
Turning in the clockwise direction results in a higher torque, in
the counterclockwise direction, a lower torque.
