    Standard Commissioning Process 27 Protection relays  ACS580MV with integrated transformer The protection relays in the feeding switchgear for the converter’s transformer must be commissioned and tested as per the manufacturer’s documentation. The settings for the protection relay are defined by the protection or system engineer. The commissioning engineer should only verify these values.

    7. Check remaining control signals connected the converter and also the 3rd part equipment control signal are connected correctly and tighten. Observe the limited contact rating of the ACS580MV I/O relays. Use the interposing relays for higher current rated as a solution.
