3.9 SETTING THE SELF-CLEANING

3.9.1 To set the Self Clean Mode:

1. Rotate both knobs into clean position.
2. CLEAN & TIME writings appear.
3. The number of cleaning hours is displayed automatically, standard clean time is
3 hours.
4. At the end of the programmed cleaning time, the oven will automatically turn off.
5. To stop the clean mode in any moment, remove one of the two knobs from clean
position.
Do not attempt to open the door while the door is locking. Lock symbol will flash until the
motor stops. When the lock symbol is displayed, the door cannot be opened.
Check that the door has been locked and will not open before starting Self-Clean mode.
If door does not lock, rotate the cooking mode knob into OFF position and do not start
self-clean; phone for service.
If the door is in the open position when this mode is selected, the lock symbol will flash
until the door is closed. The latch doesn't move.

3.9.2 To change the Clean Time:

1. To change the setting from 3 hours, select either hours for light soil or 4 hours for
heavy soil immediately before starting.
2. To change hours, touch COOK TIME key.
3. Number of hours to clean will flash.
4. Use INC or DEC buttons to change the number of hours.
5. To change minutes, touch COOK TIME key.
6. Number of minutes to clean will flash.
7. Use INC or DEC buttons to change the number of minutes. Hold the key to
change by 10 minutes.
8. Press COOK TIME or wait a few seconds to confirm the new value.
