• The Ethernet IP filtering function (Pr.1442 to Pr.1448) is provided as a means to prevent unauthorized access (with
intentions such as to corrupt programs or data) by external systems, but the function does not prevent it completely. In
order to protect the inverter and the system against unauthorized access by external systems, take additional security
measures. Mitsubishi Electric Corporation will not take any responsibility for any problems in the inverter and the system
incurred by unauthorized access. The following are examples of measures to prevent unauthorized access.
- Install a firewall.
- Install a personal computer as a relay station, and control the relaying of transmission data using an application
program.
- Install an external device as a relay station to control access rights. (For the details of external devices used to control
access rights, contact the distributors of the external devices.)
