5.4.3 Installing the PDC on an ESD Floor

A support is required when the PDC is installed on an ESD floor. The support height depends

on the height between the ground and the ESD floor.

Procedure

Step 1 Lift the cabinet onto the support and align the mounting holes on the cabinet with those on the

support.

Step 2 Level the PDC by adjusting the anchor bolts and using a level.

Step 3 Insert four M12 bolt assemblies into the mounting holes for the PDC and support. Partially

tighten the bolts.

Wrench an anchor bolt clockwise to elevate a cabinet leg, or wrench an anchor bolt anticlockwise to

lower it. The cabinet feet can be adjusted within a range of 0–8 mm.



To prevent cabinet tilting, adjust all the feet at the four corners instead of one foot.



Use a measuring tape for measurement when leveling the cabinet to ensure that the height between

the cabinet top and the ground is 2000 mm (tolerance +3 mm).



Do not remove anchor bolts as the reinstallation can be difficult when you need to use them.

Find the bolts used in this step in the fitting bag delivered with the cabinet.
