62 Installation checklist
Make sure that...
If the drive has been stored over one year: The electrolytic DC capacitors in the DC link of the drive
have been reformed. See the separate reforming instructions (available in the Internet or from your
local ABB representative).
There is an adequately sized protective earth (ground) conductor between the drive and the
switchboard, and the conductor has been connected to the appropriate terminal and tighten. (Pull the
conductor(s) to check). Proper grounding has also been measured according to the regulations.
The supply voltage matches the nominal input voltage of the unit. Check the type designation label.
The input power cable has been connected to the appropriate terminals, the phase order is right, and
the terminals have been tightened. (Pull the conductors to check.)
The control cables (if any) have been connected to the appropriate terminals, and the terminals have
been tightened. (Pull the conductors to check.)
There are no tools, foreign objects or dust from drilling inside the cabinet. There is no dust or loose
dirt in front of the cabinet (from where the cooling fans could suck it inside the cabinet).
All shrouds and covers are in place. Cabinet doors have been closed.
