Administrator Guide
Prerequisites
Before importing, a root certificate (in .pem format) must be downloaded from a SIP server or
a certificate authority locally.
Context
Certificates identify the users, certificate authorities, and servers, increasing communication
security.
Procedure
Step 1 Choose System Settings > Import Certificate.
Step 2 Click Select File, select the certificate to the imported, and click Import.
The terminal supports importing of server certificates. To import a server certificate, select Server certificate.
Server certificate: Select this to check whether the server to be accessed is secure and reliable.
Step 3 After OK is displayed, click Back to exit the current page.

The terminal can record conferences where the local site is the chair site.

The terminal for recording conferences must meet the following requirements:

Step 1 Choose Conference > Control Recording.

NOTE
The recording server is online.
NOTE
Check the recording server's online status from ResourceManager (RM).
The terminal is in a multipoint conference hosted by a standalone MCU (such as the
HUAWEI VP8660 MCU).
The ongoing multipoint conference supports recording.
The local site is the chair site.
On terminals with built-in MCUs, Built-in MCU is disabled.
When the terminal uses a standalone MCU to schedule or initiate multipoint conferences,
the conference parameters are set as follows:
– Conference line type is set to H.323, SIP, 4E1, E1, or Auto. To set Conference line
type, see5.3 Setting Conference
– Support recording is selected.
