WARNING
UNINTENDED START
When the frequency converter is connected to AC mains,
or DC power supply, the motor may start at any time.
Unintended start during programming, service, or repair
work can result in death, serious injury, or property
damage. The motor can start with an external switch, a
serial bus command, an input reference signal from the
keypad, or after a cleared fault condition.
To prevent unintended motor start:
Disconnect the frequency converter from mains.
Press [Off/Reset] on the keypad, before
programming parameters.
The frequency converter, motor, and any driven
equipment must be fully wired and assembled
when the frequency converter is connected to
AC mains, or DC power supply.

4.2.1 Uploading data to the keypad

Press [Off] to stop the motor before uploading or
downloading data.
2.
Go to parameter K-50 Keypad Copy.
3.
Press [OK].
4.
Select [1] All to keypad.
5.
Press [OK]. A progress bar shows the uploading
process.
6.
Press [Hand] or [Auto] to return to normal
operation.

4.2.2 Downloading Data from the Keypad

1.
Press [Off] to stop the motor before uploading or
downloading data.
2.
Go to parameter K-50 Keypad Copy.
3.
Press [OK].
4.
Select [2] All from keypad.
5.
Press [OK]. A progress bar shows the
downloading process.
6.
Press [Hand] or [Auto] to return to normal
operation.

4.3 Restoring Default Settings

NOTICE
Restore sets the unit to factory default settings. Any
programming, motor data, localization, and monitoring
records are lost. Uploading data to the keypad provides
a back-up before restoring.

Restoring the frequency converter parameter settings back
to default values is done by restoring of the frequency
converter. Restoring can be carried out via
parameter H-03 Restore Factory Settings or manually.

4.3.2 Manual Restoring

start-up. This may take slightly longer than normal.
Manual restoring does not reset the following frequency
converter information:

Restoring using parameter H-03 Restore Factory
Settings does not change frequency converter
data such as hours run, serial communication
selections, personal menu settings, fault log,
alarm log, and other monitoring functions.
Using parameter H-03 Restore Factory Settings is
recommended.
Manual restore erases all motor, programming,
localization, and monitoring data and restores
factory default settings.
Press [Main Menu] twice to access parameters.
Scroll to parameter H-03 Restore Factory Settings.
Press [OK].
Scroll to [2] Restore Factory Settings.
Press [OK].
Remove power to the unit and wait for the
display to turn off.
Apply power to the unit.
Alarm 80 is shown.
Press [Reset] to return to operation mode.
Remove power to the unit and wait for the
display to turn off.
Press and hold [Status], [Main Menu], and [OK] at
the same time and apply power to the unit.
