● Symptom :
Booklet maker blade does not work properly.
● Troubleshooting method :
Is the blade home sensor working? (Perform diagnostic routine 116-5600)
YES / NO 1. Check if the connector of the sensor is disconnected.
2. Check if the connector J6 on the booklet maker control board is disconnected.
3. Check the harness continuity and replace it if required.
4. Replace the blade home sensor.
5. Replace the booklet maker control board.
Is the blade motor working? (Perform diagnostic routine 116-0310)
YES / NO 1. Check if the connector of blade motor is disconnected.
2. Check if the connector J8 on the booklet maker control board is disconnected.
3. Check the harness continuity and replace it if required.
4. Replace the blade motor.
5. Replace the booklet maker control board.
Is there any noise when blade motor operate?
NO / YES 1. Check if gears are broken. Replace gears if it does.
2. Check if there is any dust or object on gear tooth. Clean them if required.
Is there any high load when knife moves forward and back manually without gear box?
NO / YES 1. Check if there is any dust or abject on guide slot. Clean and grease a slot if required.
Replace the gear box related to blade operation.
