● Symptom :
Punch Scan operation is abnormal.
● Troubleshooting method :
Is the punch scan home sensor working? (Perform diagnostic routine 116-5460)
YES / NO 1. Check if the connector of punch scan home sensor is disconnected.
2. Check if the connector P4 on the punch control board is disconnected.
3. Check the harness continuity and replace it if required.
4. Replace the punch scan home sensor.
5. Replace the punch control board.
Is the punch scan motor working? (Perform diagnostic routine 116-0210)
YES / NO 1. Check if the connector of punch scan motor is disconnected.
2. Check if the connector P4 on the finisher main board is disconnected.
3. Check the harness continuity and replace it if required.
4. Replace the punch scan motor.
5. Replace the main control board.
Is there any gear jumping noise?
NO / YES 1. Check if the gears are assembled correctly.
2. Check if the tooth of gears are broken.
Is there any dust or abject on punch scan shaft?
NO / YES 1. Clean the shaft surface and grease a shaft.
Replace the punch unit.
