● Symptom :
Sheet jam on finisher top exit
● Troubleshooting method :
Check if there is any paper on the finisher, bridge and IOT paper path. Remove it if there is.
If the error still occurs, check the followings.
Is the finisher top exit sensor working? (Perform diagnostic routine 116-5040)
YES / NO 1. Check if the sensor actuator is out-of-place.
2. Check if the connector of finisher top exit sensor is disconnected.
3. Check if the connector P14 on the finisher main board is disconnected.
4. Check the harness continuity and replace it if required.
5. Replace the finisher top exit sensor.
6. Replace the finisher main control board.
Is the finisher input motor MT02 working? (Perform diagnostic routine 116-0020)
YES / NO Refer to H2-2008 troubleshooting instructions.
Is the feed exit motor working? (Perform diagnostic routine 116-0030)
YES / NO 1. Check if the connector of feed exit motor is disconnected.
2. Check if the connector P8 on the finisher main board is disconnected.
3. Check the harness continuity and replace it if required.
4. Replace the feed exit motor.
5. Replace the finisher main board.
Is the top exit roller rotating? (Perform diagnostic routine 116-0030)
YES / NO 1. Check if the exit timing belt is assembled correctly.
2. Check if the exit timing belts is jumped during operating.
Adjust belt tension bracket.
Is the diverter working? (Perform diagnostic routine 116-0030)
YES / NO → Refer to H2-2322 troubleshooting instructions.
Check if there is any object on finisher paper path.
