● Symptom :
Rear tamper is not working properly.
● Troubleshooting method :
Is the rear tamper home sensor working? (Perform diagnostic routine 116-5330)
YES / NO 1. Check if the connectors of the sensor is disconnected.
2. Check if the connector P4 on the finisher main board is disconnected.
3. Check the harness continuity and replace it if required.
4. Replace the rear tamper home sensor.
5. Replace the finisher main board.
Is the rear tamper motor working? (Perform diagnostic routine 116-0070)
YES / NO 1. Check if the connector of rear tamper motor is disconnected.
2. Check if the connector P4 on the finisher main board is disconnected.
3. Check the harness continuity and replace it if required.
4. Replace the rear tamper motor.
5. Replace the finisher main board.
Is there any belt jumping noise?
NO / YES 1. Check if the rear tamper driving belt is assembled correctly.
2. Check if the rear tamper driving belt is broken. Replace the belt if it does.
Is there any gear jumping noise?
NO / YES 1. Check if the rear tamper motor bracket is fasten on tamper base by screw.
2. Check if the tooth of gear is broken. Replace the gear if it does.
3. Check if the rear tamper rack is broken. Replace the rack if it does.
Replace the compile unit.
