● Symptom :
Booklet maker moving guide does not work properly.
● Troubleshooting method :
Is the moving guide home sensor working? (Perform diagnostic routine 116-5630)
YES / NO 1. Check if the connector of the sensor is disconnected.
2. Check if the connector J5 on the booklet maker control board is disconnected.
3. Check the harness continuity and replace it if required.
4. Replace the moving guide home sensor.
5. Replace the booklet maker control board.
Is the moving guide motor working? (Perform diagnostic routine 116-0300)
YES / NO 1. Check if the connector of moving guide motor is disconnected.
2. Check if the connector J5 on the booklet maker control board is disconnected.
3. Check the harness continuity and replace it if required.
4. Replace the moving guide motor.
5. Replace the booklet maker control board.
Is there any high load when moving guide moves up and down manually?
NO / YES 1. Check if the moving guide is inclined. Correct if it does.
2. Check if there is any dust or abject on guide slot. Clean and grease a slot if required.
Replace the moving guide.
