8.4.4 Sector Titles, Continued
No – discards any changes you made in the current window and opens the window
for the selected camera.
Cancel – aborts the action of selecting a different camera and returns the user to the
Preset Titles window for the previously selected camera.
5. Click on Send to transmit the preset titles for the selected camera to the MaxCom
Gold. Note: this step can be done when all programming is completed using the
Send Receive Centre utility.
6. When finished programming sector titles, click on the X in the upper right corner to
close the menu.

8.4.5 Tours

A tour is a series of presets stored in memory that can be started by an operator causing
the RapidDome to travel to the defined presets automatically. A tour is similar to a
monitor sequence except that the video sequences between preset positions from the
same camera. Up to four (4) tours (numbered 1 – 4) can be defined for each
RapidDome.
The dwell time between each preset can be defined. The default dwell time for each
preset is 60 seconds. The selectable range for dwell times is from 1 to 254 seconds.
Entering a time of 0 selects a 1-second dwell time.
The default speed for the RapidDome to travel to a preset is 30°/second. The selectable
range of speeds is from 1 (1°/second) up to 100 (100°/second). Entering a 0 selects the
maximum travel speed.
1. There are two ways to access the Tours programming window:
a. Click on the down arrow beside the MaxCom Icon on the Icon toolbar, then click
Rev. 1
on Tours as shown in the display below.
