Adjusting the Focus Manually D
Autofocus may not work well on the following subjects:
Subjects with Through dirty or
Reflective surfaces low contrast Fast Moving Subjects wet windows
(e.g. White Wall)

1. Turn the mode dial to a position other than D.

2. Adjust the zoom.
When you operate the zoom after adjusting the focus, the
_ subject may not stay in focus. Adjust the zoom before the focus.

"MF" appears.

4. Turn the focus ring to adjust the focus.
Turn the focus ring up or down until the image appears focused.
5. Press the FOCUS AIM button to return to autofocus.
The setting resets to autofocus when you turn the mode dial to D.
