Memory Card Information
Images recorded on a memory card with this camcorder can be transferred to a
computer using the following products for SD Memory Cards or MultiMediaCards:
PC Card Adapter: An adapter to insert a memory card into the card slot on the
compute£
USB ReaderNVriter: Connects to the USB port of a computer for direct accessto the
memory card.

C) Format new memory cards with the camcorder. Memory cards formatted with other
devices such as a computer may not operate correctly.
OWe recommend saving backups of memory card images on your computer's hard drive
or other external memory device. Image data may be corrupted or lost due to memory
card defects or exposure to static electricity. Canon Inc. makes no warranties for
corrupted or lost data.
0 Do not turn off the camcorder, disconnect the power source, open the memory card
cover or remove the memory card while the card access indicator is flashing.
C) Do not use memory cards in places subject to strong magnetic fields.
C) Do not leave memory cards in places subject to high humidity and high temperature.
0 Do not disassemble memory cards.
C) Do not bend, drop, or subject memory cards to shocks and do not expose them to
water.
C) Moving a memory card rapidly between hot and cold temperatures may cause
condensation to form on its external and internal surfaces. If condensation forms on
the card, put it aside until the droplets have evaporated completely.
0 Do not touch or expose the terminals to dust or dirt.
0 Store and carry memory cards in the supplied case to protect the terminals.
0 Check the direction before inserting the memory card. Forcing a memory card
backwards into the slot may damage the memory card or the camcorden

card. If you wish to add labels, affix them to the case.
