Eile Numbers
Images are automatically
assigned file numbers (still images: 0001 to 9900, movies: 001
to 999) and stored in folders (still images: 101 to 998, movies: 001 to 999) containing
up to 100 images. (The sample images on the supplied memory card are saved in the
[100canon] folder.)
You can choose to use consecutive file numbers (CONTINUOUS) or to reset the file
number each time a different
memory card is inserted (RESET). W e recommend setting
the file numbers to CONTINUOUS.
CONTINUOUS
The camcorder memorizes the file number of the last image and assigns the
consecutive file number to the next image, even when a new memory card is inserted.
(If a higher file number already exists on the memory card, the consecutive number
will be assigned.) There will be no duplication of file numbers. This is useful for
organizing
images on a computer.
