OGuidelines forRecording with High S hutter Speeds:
- Outdoor sports such as golf o rtennis: 1/2000
- Moving objects such a s cars orroller coasters: 1/1000,
1/500 or1/250
- Indoor sports such a s basketball: 1/100
- Do not p oint the camcorder directly atthe sun when t he shutter speed isset
to1/1000 orhighen
- The i mage may flicker when r ecording with high s hutter speeds.
OGuidelines forRecording with Slow S hutter Speeds (CAMERA mode: 1/8, 1 /15,
1/30; CARD CAMERA mode: 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1 /15, 1/30):
- Use a slow shutter indimly litplaces, when p anning onamoving subject or
tocreate atrailing effect.
- The i mage quality may b e slightly lower when r ecording with slow shutter
speeds.
- Autofocus may n ot w ork w ith slow shutter speeds. Insuch case, adjust the
focus manually.
