Passenger's Airbag Replacement
Removal
1. Disconnectthe battery negative cable, and wait at
least 3 minutes before beginning work.
2. Remove the passenger's dashboard lower cover
(see page 20-81 ). then disconnect the passenger's
airbag 2P connector (A) from the SRS main harness.
3. Remove the three mounting nuts (A) from the
bracket. Cover the lid and dashboard with a cloth.
and pry carefully with a screwdriver to lift the
passenger's airbag (B) out of the dashboard.
NOTE: The airbag lid has pawls on its side that
attach it to the dashboard.
