Wi-Fi Direct is one of the wireless configuration methods developed by the Wi-Fi Alliance
securely connect your mobile device to your Brother machine without using a wireless router/access point.

You can use Wi-Fi Direct with both a wired and a wireless network connection at the same time.
(ADS-4900W) This model cannot use Wi-Fi Direct while connected to a 5 GHz Wi-Fi network.
