Setup Mode
Quickly press and release the
DO NOT hold the keys down.
Setup Mode normally opens to the Time Menu. However, if you press and hold instead of press and
release, you may scroll to a different menu.
To press a key correctly, press firmly in the middle of the key. When you press correctly, you will hear
a beep.
If you are in Setup Mode during a scheduled report time, the monitor will skip the monitoring session
and will not transmit any information. LifeStream will post a Transmit Error (orange alert) for the
missed reading.

If you choose one time per day (day marked with an asterisk:
data during the first monitoring session whether initiated by a report time or by pressing
the scheduled data is collected, the monitor will not collect it again until the next day. The monitor
resets to a new day at midnight.
If the monitor times out without a patient response, it will attempt to collect the scheduled data the
next monitoring session. Timing out or powering down will not affect the once-a-day schedule.
Downloading a monitor configuration
After an initial configuration packet has been sent from the monitor, a nurse or other authorized person
can remotely download a configuration from LifeStream to the monitor.
To download a configuration from a monitor, press MANUAL. When the manual mode acquisition is
displayed, press YES. This will start a configuration download through the phone line. The setup wizard
may also be used to download a configuration. See the User Manual for more information.
