    : The DM Monitor MUST BE RESTARTED after changing the Honeywell HomMed scale batteries. The scale is only zeroed during monitor startup when the monitor does the scale self test. This is unique to the Honeywell Bluetooth wireless scale – including when the AC adapter is being used. For other scales, the DM Monitor will automatically zero the scale on scale power up.
