Format

The installed hard disk can be reformatted using the Format Disk
menu in the web manager. To format, click the Confirm button. A dialog
box warns that all data on the disk will be erased and to be sure you
want to format the disk. To proceed click the OK button, to cancel the
format request click the Cancel button or close the dialog box.
Formatting might take several minutes depending on the capacity of the
hard disk. Disks are formatted with a Microsoft disk file format called
NTFS.

Scan Disk

To perform a standard Scan Disk check for errors on the hard disk,
click the Scan Disk button. Any errors found will be listed along with a
description and the available repair options.
