Network Access

Use the Network Access menu to create access rules that specify what folders can be accessed by
users or user groups.
To create an access rule, choose the User option to create an access rule for a single user or choose
Group to create a rule applied to an entire user group. Select the User or Group as appropriate from the
drop-down menu, click the Browse button, choose the folder or volume for which the rule applies, and
select the access level with the Permission menu. By default all users have read and write privileges
until they are specified differently in this menu. An optional Comment space is provided for additional
information to be entered for the user or group. Click on the Save Settings button to apply and save the
access rule.
To create an access rule that is applied to all users, click to checkmark the All accounts box and create
the new rule.
Click on the Browse button to view a new pop-up menu. This menu is used to select specific folders on
the network drive. This pop-up menu is the same when choosing folders for FTP, AV or iTunes servers.
